U.S. Army Office of the Assistant Chief of Staff for Installation Management - Army  Reserve Division (now under the Chief, Army Reserve)

DMI provided extensive program management support for the Army Reserve Real Property Exchange (RPX) Program.  RPX, with regard to the Army Reserve specifically, involves an innovative means to recapitalize the fair market value of existing substandard facilities situated on high value real estate by exchanging the land for a new site and new construction at nominal cost to the Army (this concept was created by DMI Team members while on Active Duty).  DMI’s assistance ultimately enabled the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to “market” properties to the public to accelerate the replacement of DMI identified sites.  To accomplish this work, DMI performed HQDA level program consulting and technical support to accomplish the following critical functions and results:

  • Real Property Exchange (RPX) Planning, Project Development, Project Management – 38 projects ranging from $3M to $100M
  • Military Construction and BRAC Project Validation and Development
  • Strategic and Master Planning Support
